Give 2 Those Inc,  is dedicated to developing and promoting recreational therapy initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of veterans, active duty service members, first responders, and their families. By fostering connections between military and civilian communities through supportive programs and campaigns, the organization focuses on improving physical, mental, and emotional health, ultimately creating a nurturing environment for those who have served and sacrificed for their country.

​Our Vision:

Supporting the mental and emotional well-being of those who serve our communities and country is a critical but often overlooked issue. Through our organization's efforts, we aim to address the significant challenges of depression, stress, and anxiety that are all too common among military personnel, first responders, and their families. By establishing and sustaining innovative recreational therapy programs, we seek to enhance the physical, mental, and emotional health of these heroic individuals in tangible, impactful ways. Our initiatives focus on providing accessible, therapeutic outlets that allow veterans, active duty service members, firefighters, police officers, and other first responders to process the immense stresses and traumas they face on a daily basis.

Importantly, we also extend these services to the family members of our military and first responder communities. The loved ones of those who serve often shoulder significant burdens of their own, navigating the challenges of frequent deployments, the aftermath of injury or loss, and the complexities of reintegration. By supporting the whole family unit, we can foster stronger bonds, improved communication, and enhanced resilience - equipping everyone to better manage the unique stresses they encounter.

Through our comprehensive, multifaceted approach, we are committed to minimizing the debilitating effects of depression, anxiety, and burnout that so often plague our nation's bravest. It is our honor to empower these selfless individuals and their families, providing them with the therapeutic resources and community support they need to thrive, both physically and mentally. With each program we establish and each life we touch, we move one step closer to a future where the sacrifices of our military and first responders are met with the care, compassion, and wellness they deserve.​

Our Roots:

​

Give2Those originated from the Stride and Ride Relay event, which takes place in October to commemorate October 7, 2001. This event serves as a way to pay tribute, educate, and remember the significance of the first deployment in the global war on terror. It also aims to honor the memories of those who lost their lives not only on September 11, 2001, but also in the years following due to various reasons such as 9/11 related illnesses, service-related injuries, or the hidden scars of war.
