Give 2 Those has recently adjusted its guidelines, resulting in some significant changes via our Hands Up 4 Our Heroes Program. Overall, the scope of direct monetary support provided to an individual by Give 2Those has become quite narrow and targeted. Whereas the organization previously offered support for a wider range of expenses, it has now narrowed its scope to focus on more specific, targeted areas of need.
Give 2 Those will not cover costs related to medical bills, rent or mortgage payments, personal loans, car loans/problems, credit card balances, child support obligations, tax liabilities, home improvement projects, cable/internet bills, elective medical procedures, legal fees While these changes may disappoint some individuals who have relied on Give 2 Those for a broader range of financial assistance in the past, the organization remains committed to providing meaningful support in other key areas where it can make the most difference. It's crucial to understand that there are limits to the funds available in our Hands Up 4 Our Heroes program each year, once we have fully allocated such funds for this program we cannot overpromise or overcommit our funds, nor will we divert resources from other important initiatives.
This responsible approach ensures that the organization can continue providing valuable assistance through our various channels without jeopardizing the stability and sustainability of any one particular program. Though the scope of direct financial support has narrowed, Give 2 Those is determined to make the biggest possible impact through the channels that remain open.

Testimony Story: From Marine Veteran Tom
As a recent recipient, I want to express how truly grateful and thankful I am to Heather and Give2Those. I started the year out without water: well pump went right before Christmas and I was having problems with the new one .. April hot water heater goes and a week later pressure tank for well pump goes (insert Big scream - because I just got even in May from the well pump). The mortgage co didn’t care the program they have is a joke .. defer mortgage payments for 3 or 6 months, but on month 4 or 7 You Have to have all 4 or 7 payments.....Yeah Right on disability.I tried getting ahold of VA rep in town with no luck , not unusual.. just frustrating because they don’t seem to know how to return calls , again not unusual (the VA Doctors don’t either). So I took it upon myself to make my own program and use my mortgage payments Towards Needed things , pressure tank , hot water heater and installation $$. So I’d be behind and play catch up, nothing new, just old and tiresome. In comes Joe with a phone call what’s going on and everything, after telling him what’s been going on and what I had to do and everything he tells me he knows exactly who to contact and he’ll make a call. While I knew about Give2Those my thinking from having frontal lobe damage has slowed down, I didn’t even think about contacting them even just to see if they could point me in the right direction..

Give2Those allocates funds to each of their programs based on the demands and needs. Our team works hard through events, and spreading the word for our mission to get participants to events, donations in and sponsorships but due to demand we are not always able to accommodate everyones request once we have expended all of our available funds/resources within the year and Give2Those.org does not pull funds from other programs.
